I did it...I have made a successful Me/W. An odd combo is it not. I charge into battle, and with mesmer armour that is not smart, or is it? I can take out a whole mob single-handedly, even with my weak armour. Here are some tactics i use to help me win:

-Use chaos strom on a group of enemy casters and distance attackers
-Put some hexes such as empathy and conjure phantasm on moving opposing warriors, just boost fast casting for continous movement of skills
-Have some powerfull warrior attack skills to finish off the pre-weakened opponents
-Fool around with the mix, but have fun!

Only skill i think i need is illusionary weaponry to finish off this build, if you know where to get it, (town, where to go from there) please post!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it isn't THAT rare anymore. I usually see a few Me/W's here and there. I used to like Me/W a lot. It is a really fun build to play. And hey, another really good skill you can use to help your Mesmer take loads of damage is Distortion. I love that skill.

The illusionary weaponry Me/W is not rare at all, it's a classic. But I'm impressed that you came up with this on your own without hearing about it first, I never would have.

Yeah, everyboy and his mom has a Mes/War, though maybe not as much as when Hundred Blades was non-elite. Still, congratulations, sounds like a lot of fun.

Heck, theres even a Pre-Made Me/W..

are you kidding? i've barely seen any... and nobody else wearing rogue armor

Mission: Iron Mines of Moladune, in S shiverpeaks, the second mission there. After you get the cutscene from the Seer, and have to kill the Eidolon, on the way to the Eidolon, there is a boss. When it spawns as a mesmer type, it will use IW.

The premade Mesmer / Warrior doesn't have Illusionary Weaponry, though. In fact, the build's crap, IMO.

You don't see'em alot in PvE, it's more of a PvP build.

Mine wears rogue's, btw.

Actually Rogue's chest and pants with Enchanter's boots and gloves. Thinking about switching to Regal, though.

Every mesmer/war I have faced has flopped over quite quickly. They are rogues for sure. Stealthy damage, but caught redhanded=dead in seconds. Be nice if your subclass was not exposed in the arena.
